General wireless setup โ works for most modern printers
Most printers only support 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz. Check what band your router is broadcasting.
Passwords are case-sensitive. Try the WPS method instead to skip typing it.
Make sure your computer is on the same WiFi network, and try disabling any VPN.
The printer is searching but not connected. Restart both printer and router, then retry.
USB and wireless setup for Windows and Mac
Only download drivers from official manufacturer websites
Quick wireless setup steps by brand
If your printer still won't connect after trying these steps, sometimes a new one is the simpler fix. We carry new, factory-sealed printers starting at $49.99.
